The Vision Quest guides you to know the true nature of abundance: the abundance of your life and the abundance of the Human world. You connect with the abundance of elements, plants and creatures that you share this earth with. And as you recognise the signature of abundance, you are drawn to how you can literally ‘bring abundance to life’ leaving the world of winners and losers behind. You can then consciously evoke the energy of abundance to assist you in realising your vision.

Davide De Angelis was born in London, England. He is a shaman, philosopher, speaker and visionary guide. He is also a musician and passionate about exploring innovative business ideas and creative paths to living abundantly. His Money Shaman website and daily mantras attract a worldwide audience of over 60,000 people. He has appeared on television and radio in the UK, USA and Japan. And his new book, ‘The Guiding Principle’ – one simple truth that reveals the miracle of life, will be released in December 2009.

As an award winning designer and art director, he has worked for some of the most innovative companies and people in the world, including Apple, Sony and the iconic David Bowie and U2. He gained an international reputation for creating unique and powerful ways of using language and images to communicate ideas.

With a deep passion for delving into the mysteries of life and a desire to discover his own truth, he has spent over twenty years studying Shamanism, Yoga, Sound Healing and Movement Practices. He has taken part in shamanic healing rituals since he was nineteen and worked directly with shamanic plant medicines and ritual sound for over twelve years. His own use of Vision Questing began thirteen years ago in Mexico, and since then he has used this powerful process to help people discover a deeper and far more sacred aspect of life.

At forty-four a dramatic shift in consciousness opened him to a direct realisation of the vast and beautiful Intelligence that shapes our lives. He calls this Intelligence, The Guiding Principle. A second powerful realisation at forty-five ended all further seeking and confusion, giving rise to a powerful way of opening others to the possibility of recognising their own miraculous nature.

Throughout the year, Davide offers Vision Quests, retreats, private consultations and talks where he shares how to live, immersed in the miraculous flow of Nature. Central to everything he does is a sense of play, adventure and surprise.

Esther De Angelis is a woman of passion and colour who believes that each of us has powerful creative gifts to explore and share with the world. She is of the opinion that creativity framed in ritual ceremony unleashes hitherto undiscovered forces and resources within the individual and the collective. She is adamant that aliveness and imagination is key to the evolution, human connection and community that will serve us all in this 21st century.

Her journey of the creative arts and spiritual transformation began 20 years ago after a brief training and career as an accountant. Since then she has combined her practice as a Visionary Artist with other exuberant creative disciplines such as dance and drama; devising and pioneering her own practise, Creative Chakra Dance which she’s taught successfully at festivals all over the UK since 2000. Esther’s vivacious spirit also extends to the field of music where she has led and co-facilitated many Sound Circles, Sacred Voice Circles and Drum Circles for adults and children for twelve years. She is more than likely to be found with a magic handbag of instruments wherever she goes – introducing sound and play to all she meets.

She has an extensive knowledge and experience of art practices and is intent on sharing the magic of the arts in community, particularly the Carnival Arts. Her visual work has evolved to reflect her own spiritual discovery and journey into ritual healing practises, disciplines and world cosmologies such as those from The Kabbalah, Yoga and Shamanism. She has studied with many Spiritual teachers and Shamans from around the world and in recent years has assisted and led many sacred rituals here in the UK and abroad. In the past few years she has had many wonderful insights with the sacred medicine plants.

Esther embodies a very practical, heartfelt nature and she applies this with other personal growth and healing modalities to her transformational work as a visionary coach, hypnotherapist and healer. She continues to present yoga as an incredible movement practise that every person deserves to experience for themselves and loves teaching people to come into a greater, magical relationship with their bodies and life. She has lived in and around Hampstead and the heath for 33 years.

The day begins at 10.30am with all participants gathering at our beautiful home in Hampstead, London NW3, a 3 min walk from the heath. Full address provided upon booking.

We introduce you to the Vision Quest process and outline the structure for the day. We will provide everything you need in order to realise profound insights and answers.

We will create sacred space together and set our intentions with meditation and sound. This officially opens the Vision Quest. We will then journey out onto the Heath and the Quest unfolds. All processes in Nature take place in daylight and although you will have your own unique journey, we encourage the group to work within earshot of each other. This enables us to gather together when needed and helps maintain the sacred energy we have created. We will journey to a number of different locations throughout the day and as your Vision Quest Guides, we are there to hold and sustain that sacred space and unfolding, so that you are empowered to be as free and creative as you wish.

 

History of Hampstead

Hampstead is known for its intellectual, liberal, artistic, musical and literary associations. Prominent artists, writers, actors, performers and reformers of their day have always been drawn to its beautiful, quaint village feel and the wonderful space that is Hamsptead Heath with its 25 ponds and varied heathland.

Mystics: Rabindranath Tagore, Indian poet and mystic, Aldous Huxley interested in parapsychology and philosophical mysticism and advocated psychedelics.

Poets: John Keats, Lord Byron, Robert Louis Stevenson.

Writers: Samuel Johnson, Charles Dickens, Edgar Wallace, D. H. Lawrence, H G Wells, George Orwell, Daphne du Maurier, Doris Lessing, Sir Kingsley Amis, Martin Amis, Ian Fleming, CS Lewis was inspired to write the famous novel, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", while walking on the heath on a snowy day.
